Is anyone aware of what royalties may be applied for MEI's project? So they have a 4.75% royalty to the previous tenement holder,
State/national royalties aren't as clear cut though, like they are here in Australia. I have seen 2% NSR reported for gold companies in Minas Gerais. Could be as low as 0.2%, could be as high as 3%. Then the surface rights holder gets another half of that, so could be as low as 0.2% or as high as 4.5%. Who owns the surface rights for Capao do mel and Soberbo, is it private farmland or public land? For comparison, QLD royalties are 2.5% for rare earths.
Canaccord's assumption
Thanks for any assistance.
