An interesting rebuttal, its a pity that you failed to consider:

1) IXR has a major interest in VMM who now have projects adjacent to MEI's,
2) Even if MEI's Rn's are double those of Makuuta, having almost 10x the recoverable REE's means MEI is way less toxic
3) The Brazillian Government are serious about Pollution, did you see how they treat illegal miners on TV yesterday ?
4) I would expect MEI to separate their Rn's out and dispose of them in a properly engineered / secure dump, as all Western RE miners plan to do (including PEK) except IXR

The problem is easily solved, all Tim has to do is design engineer and build a proper dump, estimated cost a paltry US$20M which equates to roughly another Billion shares at the current SP ~ SFA considering the number of shares already in circulation !

Has anybody found out how much the Environmental Bond is going to be yet ? and is that what the SPP was for ?
