Mr Suzuki, just in case you are wondering why it is totally relevant and appropriate to point out the fine print to someone who is possessed in this particular occasion, I'd like to explain.

We all are on the same boat. Our boat has been sailing smoothly toward our destination. We all believed our boat would take us to our prosperous destination safely. Suddenly our captain told us that if we chained our boat to this American boat, we would be taken to a new destination that is much more prosperous. He can't guarantee that that new much more prosperous destination exists, but he believes so. After all, why would the American captain spend so much money to pay him just to surrender his captaincy if that new destination doesn't exist? (I hope you understand what I mean to say there.)

In a much softer voice, he told us that once our boat is chained to the American boat, he would leave the boat, and the two chained boats would sail around Cape Horn to the new destination. He told us to discuss and decide collectively because whether our boat will safely reach that new destination or get wrecked on the way we all are on the same boat.

Now, some fellow passengers on the boat are possessed by their dream to be prosperous. After they hear about a new destination that is much more prosperous, they forget that our boat has been sailing half way to our prosperous destination. They forget that although some bad weather may make the water rough and shake our boat, the sea route our boat has taken is much much safer than the most treacherous water around Cape Horn which will have to be crossed to reach the new destination.

And I point out to them the danger of crossing the water around Cape Horn, because if our two chained boats get wrecked, I will get drowned too!

So it is not that I am trying to be a good Samaritan or that I have a hidden agenda. I am trying to contribute to the discussion on what is the safest way to get to our destination.

We all are on the same boat. Our future, getting rich or getting wrecked, depends on our votes collectively.
