Closed off in a few directions now and the long section is interesting in that it suggests that the recent holes SOMRC011, 012, 03 and 014 and SOMRC018 all hit "mineralisation" although we don't have the assay results for these holes yet. Obviously SOMRC009 and 010 were dusters, looks like SOMR016 and 017 will also be dusters as no visible mineralisation.

Looking a bit small so far but the grades are high, looks like reasonably methodical drilling, but would like to see an other hole or two with pierce points below SOMRC006 on the long section if possible, maybe next year if all assays look okay.

I also noticed that in this map view they drilled two diamond core holes that aren't appearing on the long section, along with the dashed white line of Section A-A', a cross section that got omitted from the release somehow.

Luckily they did include a full table of drill hole collar info so if you consider the different Azimuth of hole SOMDD002 compared to all the other similar Azimuths of the RC holes, the long section probably should look something like this: (my scribbling in blue boxes)

Got to remember that the diamond core for these two diamond drill holes SOMDD001 & 002 will need to be cut before going to the lab. I would say that SOMDD001 should "twin" the historic hole MA-10 and SOMDD002 is designed to try to explain what is going on between holes SOMRC005 and SOMRC006 without drilling into the shaft itself. The addition of these two diamond holes suggests that the RC drilling isn't giving them enough geological info and the number of dusters has got them thinking that they needed to plonk down some quick but informative diamond drill cores to figure out what is going on with these mineralised lodes at the Star of Mangaroon.

You can also see where the water table would be at the bottom of that shaft and you can bet thats approx where the historical miners pulled up stumps so if you can get any deep RC holes below that without loss of sample quality (wet samples) you are drilling into virgin ground.

Just as an aside - it also looks like there might be an error either in the Azimuth of hole SOMRC018 of where it is plotting on the map. Looks logical on the long section but something weird about the plan view with respect to the mineralisation and direction of drilling. This is why I always prefer to have some light drill traces in plan view on these sort of announcements because errors like this become obvious in the drafting stage. I can't criticize these guys too harshly though because they are one of the youngest but hardest working exploration teams chasing drill rigs all over the countryside and putting the money into the drilling.....

No complaints from me about that - they have the holidays and then a good time to sit down and nut it out back at the office in section view once all the core is logged, cut and assays returned.
