Nickel is just on a 2 year low. Maybe that has something to do with sentiment? The other very significant factor is that money has become very hard to find for companies with an initial resource development which requires large expenditure, and ASO falls into this category. Hence negative sentiment is compounded.
Sale of the gold tenements is still an option to help raise funds but they do not seem to be doing much to improve that asset. Still, if the POG really does take off, ASO may become a gold stock before it starts mining nickel.
