If the government propose to decline it (and I’m not saying they will), they will take their time to ensure all legalities are covered to ensure no challenge.
They weren’t going to announce it during Cop28 for that reason alone.
I don’t think we can currently ascertain what their position is and I doubt any decision will be made before Xmas.
Now the main players in this transaction, Asset Energy, BPH and BUY, are all micro cap companies They have little power or influence. That is the reality.
