Just an observation. I know some day traders who sit in front of a dozen screens whenever the market is open. They get an alert on any share which seems to be surging. They are particularly interested in small and medium caps. If it fits their strict criteria they pile in but are almost always out within two trading days. I have no idea if that is actually the case in this instance, but it would seem that recent trading in MQR fits this pattern.
After I posted someone took 700,000 shares in one bite. I am hopeful that that means that the reason for the surge is still in the near future.
