The CEO needs to wake up here, AGY is getting into a precarious position. They’re spending money not budgeted for on these rectification works to the 2,000tpa plant. If we’re talking 4-6 months are longer to resolve these issues, having to pay staff with nothing to do. A lot money is going out the door. Being forced to do a capital raising at this share price with so much negative sentiment towards lithium stocks is going to hurt existing shareholders. Issuing a resource upgrade or 10,000tpa approval isn’t going to help the share price much, just look at the market darling WR1 after it’s MRE release. It’s share price got hammered, expectation about the MRE was what was keeping its share price high.

AGY has got to get this plant up and running ASAP. I’m sure they’re not working 24/7 on this, probably not even 12/7. Well, they need to ramp it up or even fire up the pilot plant and start producing. Urgency and decisive action is what is required!
