the call from wayne

Hi Guys,
Late this afternoon Wayne McCrae returned my call, we had a fairly long chat, it's the first time I've ever spoken with Wayne and it was not an unpleasant experience.
I attempted to get some definitive statement concerning the treatment of Native Copper and the Diamond cores covered on page 9 of 16 of the JORC. Wayne would not comment directly and the reason was that he was hamstrung by the document having been signed of by someone else (I assume this was consultants Hellman & Schofield), I didn't establish if this was a legal or ethical restriction.
However Wayne appeared unconcerned by the diamond holes as they only represented 5% of the samples that made up the 30MT needed for the EIS.
He was far more focused on the RC cores and the fact that nuggets greater than 40mm are simply not picked up. He believed this contributed to a very significant discrepancy between the actual amount of copper and the figure indicated in the JORC.
Wayne was confident that when the mining actually starts the figures indicated in the Metallurgical studies (4.37%) would be exceeded for the Bonanza zone.
Wayne also mentioned that information should be released within the next 2 weeks which he hopes will cause "the penny to drop" (his words) for the marketplace, he was not talking about the BFS.
Although not getting an answer to my initial NCu (either yes or no) I was reassured by Wayne, he seemed pretty straight to me and I'm not often fooled, however I'm definitely not infallible and I'm definitely not selling!
