Are you sure that investing in biotechs is your thing?
IMU is a cancer research company and many people have invested in IMU because cancer has touched their lives. They genuinely seek an answer to the scourge of cancer. They are investing for financial reasons certainly, but also because they do have some empathy for cancer sufferers.
The relating of cancer stories that have touched their lives is actual input into IMU's goals. Helps keep everyone motivated as well.
Your description of these related experiences as "sob stories" says a lot about you - and nothing positive it has to be said.
I now use the ignore button myself - so maybe use it for the rest of us as well.
