So true people are vary of small caps which would include Invictus energy certainly. Perhaps you know this so I don't mean for you to suck eggs - small caps share prices stay very low during periods of high interest rates, like the last couple of years, right. But the thing is, in 2 years time from now in Australia, interest rates are expected to be at the very least 100 basis points lower (1 %) lower than the where current RBA cash rate of 4.35% is. We saw the rally begin yesterday here locally following Powell's Xmas present to traders that in 2024 rates are more than likely starting to lower in the USA next year. So, it doesn't take Einstein to workout that small caps SP's will be propelled upwards going forwards as interest rates start to lower.

But caution is called for in 2024. You see, historically markets usually bottom in a short period following the first rate cut. So although we are probably in a santa rally right now, a bottom in the market could occur in the month or 2 following the first interest rate cut, my guess mid 2024. In any case, I am simply staying long small caps & this IVZ share price could be huge in a couple of years.
