"The Cairns region is 14 hours from running out of water if weather prevents the council from clearing infrastructure blockages and residents don’t turn off the taps, mayor says."
Any locals may want to fill containers, alerted to the same for the Douglas Shire region inc sewerage issues.
l live just south of Port so not connected to mains water & sewerage services, not without its own set of issues as we are close to the beach, flooding and presently isolated.
So far still have power & internet, very grateful.
