The wife of Opposition Leader Tony Abbott has revealed how she handles the family budget, saying the couple struggled financially to raise their three daughters.
Margie Abbott said in an interview with News Ltd's Sunday Telegraph they had at times lived week-to-week.
"We've faced those things," she said.
"Every time interest rates go up, I'm there with the letter thinking, 'Oh my God'."
