    yeah, perhaps ra is one of the big nothings that think they are something
    was reading somewhere that the brahma gods have got it so good that they think that they are It.

    i don't know
    but i do know that there is more to this picture than normally meets the eye.

    can understand now how the roman emporers were thought of as gods.

    afterlife?
    as they say, "life goes on"
    are all streams of consciousness dependent upon a biological body?

    also, many are stuck in the rut of believing that if there is no god, then there is no rebirth.
    one may find that an extrapolation of experience will support a notion that this is not true unless it is experentially realized.

    hatred, anger, malice, selfishness, jelously etc are gods.

    hawking's is asking the wrong question.
