Basically Catholic is an Italian culture…. Islam is a middle eastern culture, Buddhism is a far east culture, Hinduism is an Indian culture. They all claim to bring their followers to heaven. None of the can, they are all man made tradition / made up religion from different culture.
Oh I see, it has to be an American religion, or a personal religion.
To bad Romans was addressed to the Church of Rome,
This is what Paul wrote
Roman1:7 I wish, to all those at Rome whom God loves and has called to be holy, grace and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 8 And first, I offer thanks to my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, you whose faith is so renowned throughout the world.
Sorry you lose, as I follow scripture, as if it was good then so it is now, I see nothing about Jesus or God being racist.
Imagine horror of horrors, Rome dictating you or Americans what to believe.
If anyone believes in Christ is the way, then yes, He is the only way… but not from Constantine made/Italian culture Catholic BS beliefs. Where is the recording of Christmas to be celebrated on the 25 of Dec in the bible? It’s all Constantine made BS… then followed/adopted by ignorant mainstream protestants.
Dec 25 appears nowhere in the bible, makes no difference, what you don’t know or understand that some of the first Christians saw and experienced Jesus, His life and death, other generations did not, from the first Christian generation the church started teaching the events of the life of Jesus to the early believers, and now its been broken that into a 4 yearly cycles so believers can experience the same as much as humanly we possibly can.
Thorough out the year, the church celebrates each event of Jesus life, which is called liturgical year, broken up into - Advent, Christmas, Ordinary Time (Time after Epiphany), Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time (Time after Pentecost). where each and every single day biblical reading are taken from the OT and lining it up with the NT. In order to understand both
Christmas or Dec 25 was originally a pagan holiday, was celebrated at the right time to compliment the liturgical year, it Christianised it, like it did with all the other days of the year to fit into the life and death of Christ.
The bible was put together for this very reason.
But, as an end of year family gatherings, I love Xmas (but not as religious festival & candle burning in the church bs )
Its, really up to you what you do and what take you put on the meaning of Christmas, to me it’s a day that I celebrate when my Saviour Jesus Christ came into the world in order for my salvation, the same goes for easter, as much as I keep them in my mind all year its good to have a specific day when Jesus’s earthly events can be remembered and most of all celebrated, even better when done with family
I’m not sure if you’re Christian or not, so maybe I’ve written this for nothing.
Trust me, the CC existed long before Constantine. eg Romans in your bible
