I am a past Zoono shareholder.

I haven't been following this story, nor have I looked into Hyslop's background, but these are my current thoughts.
I am totally open to the possibility that the company has made false claims. However I am suspicious.
Is Zoono and (at least some) its products a threat to competition? If the products actually work (the efficacy and longevity claims), who/what sector does this pose a threat to?

Why does China continue to have contracts with Zoono (I believe Zoono has supplied some of their products to China (for the agricultural industry at least) for many years), if the products don't work? China isn't stupid. They do their own tests. Why does China use Zoono products in the poultry (at least in the past) and pig industries? But NZ and Australia doesn't?
For livestock health and to reduce the spread of diseases, Australia tends to focus on antibiotics and vaccines. "The Australian Government, together with the New South Wales and Queensland governments and Meat & Livestock Australia, are investing in a $4.95 million project to support research into mRNA vaccines for livestock, including for lumpy skin disease" (quote from an article dated October 2023).
Are Zoono's products for the agricultural industry (even if only a few countries use the products) a threat to alternative treatments?

What about Zoono's nasal spray for chronic rhinosinusitis, currently in development (after successful trials at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland)?
ASX announcement, Jan '23: "Further work has been done in conjunction with Douglas Pharmaceuticals to commercialise the Company’s new nasal spray product, with a soft launch of the product now scheduled for the second half of CY23. The investigation of further similar products is also ongoing".
Another article (Oct '22): "Over the past 18 months, testing led by Professor Richard Douglas assessed the treatment against types of bacteria found in patients experiencing sinusitis that can be resistant to antibiotics. There was a significant reduction in staphylococcus aureus biofilms, which are found in the nose and on the skin, at one hour and eradication at six hours. Additionally, the product reduced pseudomonas biofilms, found in soil and debris, within five minutes and eradicated within an hour".
Is this nasal product and/or other Zoono products in development being viewed as a possible threat to certain industries or companies that market alternative or similar treatments?
Zoono's technology is purportedly based on an antimicrobial molecule that bonds to any surface and kills pathogens, including bacteria, viruses, algae, fungi and mould. Are there any parties (including shareholders) that will potentially lose out big time if Zoono's technology does what Zoono claims it does, and secondly, if Zoono's products become more widely known and more widely used? Is the company being targeted?

Yes some (maybe all) of you will laugh at what I have said. Look, as I said, it could simply be that the company is making false claims, about some or all of their products. Though I have seen several supermarket disinfectant products that make claims about killing the covid-19 virus ("99.9% effective"). Why are these manufacturers not being targeted (I do not believe adequate testing has been done to prove these claims on those products)? And it is a fact of life - when an individual, business, industry etc becomes a big enough threat to the interests of another party/parties, they are often targeted. It is a sad fact that corruption is more widespread than most people realise.

It will be interesting to hear what the commerce commission says about the 200+ independent lab test results.

    Signing out for the day.....

P.S. I'm a infrequent HC forum user and I don't have notifications turned on. I am far too busy to be on here regularly. And it's Christmas soon folks!
