Danny, I understand you don't want to read negative posts, but... were you a holder in MOY?
This is a bold move (but to be fair, CAI has to be bold... given it's current situation). The $14m upfront is very savvy considering they also have liabilities added of $50m ($5m payment and $45m in rehab). They mention they plan to get rid of a lot of the tenements, because... it all costs $$ to keep them. I don't really rate the plant as being valued more than scrap (but happy to be proven wrong). NOVO is giving this away and.... there are reasons for that. To simply ignore them because you don't like other views seems short sighted.
To be clear, CAI are not buying plant to be used to process gold. It's a huge liability. Especially when... CAI have just sold/rented (10 years is so long... it's like selling it), the entire 'camp infrastructure'. I also dislike the 'immediately' statement. That implies they are going to start trucking ore next week? Fine if they are, but... they need to prove it. Surely Dave has realized that broad statements don't work anymore.
That all being said, the potential to truck from 75km should see them be able to pull together a longer mine plan (not immediately as they imply but over time). Lucky Novo are not miners... otherwise CAI would have had competition, instead, they benefit.
It is going to be very interesting to see what CAI is able to achieve over 2024.
Good luck to all patient holders (I have a small interest of sorts current in CAI, as I hold ALK, so... I actually want the to do well!).
