I know more about this topic that you ever will. I came to this country as a refugee and I have studied refugee law at Uni.
Under refugee law there is presumption that if you can fly out of your own country you are not a genuine refugee. And I will also say that most refugees I know visit their home country after they obtain Australian citizenship. These are the same people who say they'll be tortured and executed of they are sent back.
