Where did that come from? It is at odds with my source.I google "ASX Short Positions", go to ASIC Short Position Report Table, then click on Quick Link Latest Daily (pdf).As of yesterday (or upto T+4 = as of 14/12), 11.8% or 250M shares shorted.All traders must report to ASIC their numbers, so I presume this is correct.
