The most effective advertising that the management of this company could do imo would be to announce on Monday morning what their gold production and costs in July and August were and what their current cash and overdue debt positions are. If the figures look okay and the company looks saveable then I suspect lots of investors who stepped away from the stock in recent weeks would wade back in.
Not sure the logic behind a junior goldie advertising on cnbc - most of them spend their pr funds on presentations and conferences - but it is not uncommon that a retail outfit which all of a sudden starts throwing money at non-targetted advertising is actually throwing a last gasp holy mary. That no other local miners use cnbc does suggest to me an act of desperation by AAM management. Hopefully I'm wrong.
