    Pugsley and RegularASX,
My point was that Sol came in at a very difficult time and had to make changes and set new strategies. The investment that he made has put TLS in a fairly good position today and enabled Thodey to build the free cashflow whilst competing with better technology.
Incidentally, most journalists have now admitted they were largely wrong about Sols contribution.I remember how Sol was ridiculed when he forecast $6b free cashflow, and yet here we are.Aussie journos being what they are couldnt quite get past the image of the three amigos in sombreros, so there was very little quality analysis done.
I totally agree that its time to move on and Sol definitley wont be coming back, but I dont like to see people rewrite history, particularly if they dont understand what happened.
Will Sol be remembered as a good guy? This is Australia mate ,.....so maybe if he was a sports star that overcame heroin addiction things would be different. We rarely remember our corporate contributers, let alone recognise them.
