NBN is the wrong answer to a problem we don't even have. A country of our size isn't suited to optic fibre. It's going to cost billions to connect up sheepstations and 3 shed towns in the middle of nowhere. Optic fibre degrades too - it'll cost a fortune to maintain. And it's not new technology - the US military have had it for decades. Satellite and wireless is the way to go imo.
But its too late now. Mike is right. This whole charade will deliver Labour another go at wasting money.
