if my memory serves me right then the $6 price tag on SYR was due to some takeover rumour from some big commodity house (can't remember the name)... been ages, I could be wrong...everything graphite has been on a slippery slope more than on any upward trajectory, no run up ever holds here... for any stock in the western world...different story in the Indian stocks where graphite/carbon stocks have had more stable runs but then they are not into mining per se but more into processing and their market is local, so not too much of "international" news driven...
