Been that way since the GFC m8........ASX has been absolutely dreadful compared to US markets.
I'll never understand why Australian Governments don't incentivise people to put their hard earned into productive capital use like .....um....businesses lol.
Too many people put money into overpriced/mispriced housing in this country.
