Ah yes, another very intellectual post from a person that appears to be able spout the "non-cents".

The situation in Korea is quite a bit different than in Australia for a number of reasons.

Based fatso's post it appears that non of these have been considered. Some of which are:

    1. Korea is about the size of Victoria.

    2. There are 48 million people in Korea

    3. About half of the country's populations lives in Seoul area.

    4. Korea is the world's number ten in terms of population density. Australia is number 187 or the 6th least dense. I would think that comapring a country with a population desity of over 490 people per sq km to one with 3 per sq km would entail a completely different situation.

    5. There are already 10 million or so broadband users.

    6. The Korean government lent funds to a private company to undertake the build out.
