"in fact I think Katter was being very polite to minchin."

Are you joking? Katter may be a :character" - but that does not excuse ill-manners.

Your standards and mine must be entirely different as to what is and isn't rude or polite. Katter being a "character" doesn't excuse blatant public rudeness.

As to the "nasty and vitriolic" someone else mentioned, I have never been either personally to any poster on here.

You don't know it RamPAge - but in actual fact I have direct experience of someone who owns a battling small business who is facing exactly that under Labor/Greens - ruin!

If Labor/Greens get in again - it's the end of his small business! Took him half a lifetime to build it up. And the lives of thousands of other people in the same financial field are also facing ruin or redundancy - Bowen and Emerson are fast killing off this industry with their ever changing and impossible to meet compliance and regulation bureacratic nightmare requirements.

Both governments have been at it - leaving the field open to the "Big Boys" and gradually wiping out these small players - but things have been, and will be, worse, in fact, inpossible under a Labor/Greens Coalition.

And so the Banks, and the Big companies, are aptly delighted, as they, courtesy Labor, will have open slather. Small, well run and personal service businesses will be yesterday's fish and chips.

A bit like the mining situation!

The Big Three got the secret deal Gillard/Rudd/Swan plums. The rest of the miners were excluded from this "consultation", and will have to battle it out to survive. And many will NOT survive under Labor, and moreso Greens.
Neither will the savings and investment plans of millions of Australians who are invested in these companies.

You should never draw conclusions, or assume, Ram.

Katter DOES need a lesson in public etiquette!
