Remember that H2 is the smallest molecule there is so it will flow MUCH more easily through MUCH smaller 'pores' than CH4 (natural gas) - assuming the pressure is the same.
This in fact is one of the 'issues' with H2 use in fuel cells & blending with natural gas in pipelines i.e. a % of the H2 leaks/diffuses out of the pipe work.
It will be very interesting to see what happens when they try to flow the H2. He even more so.
