Alex ..I think we are talking here of predicting weather months and years ahead ..not days!!!
Even on a day to day basis regular rain can arrive when unpredicted ..I know because I often don't trust the weather prediction when putting out my washing and the rain showers regularly arrive and I'm glad I put my washing out to dry under cover!!!!
