The snippet appears to be a response to a recruiter so he is unlikely not to shower BRN with praise. So its credibility is in doubt.
The question is why have 2 senior staff left?
We have Thorn coming in for Stevens. Did Pateau leave after Thorn was appointed or before?
Maybe performance related? Maybe business vision differences?
In Australia at least its considered poor form to bag the employer you are leaving simply because the new prospective employer knows you will do the same to them in due course. Maybe be different in the US?
NDA's not withstanding sales results so far indicate performance may be an issue? Although Sean claims engagements are at a high.
One thing that is confusing about his correspondence is that Sean has made it clear that chips will be somewhat of a stepping stone to IP.
If for example we are embedded with an ARM chip they (ARM) can produce the chip, sell it and pay us royalties. Same with any other partners.
His comments about BRN and chips seem a little misleading or at the least very generalised????
