He not only doesn't know who the " Marlin" was but whether it actually existed and if it did were they close to catching it or just waiting with the hope of one coming along.
It was the buzz word at the time generated from a conversation with BL if I recall correctly and buzz words take on a life of their own on chat sites and touted as the gospel truth when it fits an adgenda.
Did they end up with a Shark instead and were too wise to get taken in so let it go...or is the "Marlin" so big they have yet to land it..
If they land one we will be told about it a nd if it breaks off we will never know, but in the meantime fishing continues..
