the mRNA system was trialed extensively in cancer studies. it was used to deliver specific medications to specific cells enabled by the selective mRNA key to unlock access to cancer cells. trials began in the late '90s.
the use of mRNA tech to deliver instruction to immune system cells to produce natural immune response to viruses had also been trialed as an extension of the earlier trials, it just hadn't been used commercially. and of course the whole use of this tech was in itself the biggest trial of a new medication that had ever been done..... and it was a raging success, as shown in the reduced infection spread among vaccinated people.

every medication has adverse events for some people. mRNA was much much safer than the risk of dying or having long standing after effects from covid.
I haven't used a mask since 2021. as far as I know I haven't been infected with covid. my wife sat in a small room for an hour doing an assessment with a person who later advised she was covid +ve. neither my lady nor I contracted covid.
