Ummmm, didn't God rest on the 7th day from all his works in 6 days, hmm, I could be wrong lol. --------------------- Yes, and that rest day will end when Jesus hands back the Kingdom after he has accomplished what is God's stated purpose for mankind.

To accomplish this Jesus as God's appointed king will remove all opposition to Jehovah's sovereignty. It will begin with the clean up on earth at Armageddon and it will finish with the removal of opposition in the spirit realm.
(Revelation 20:1-3) And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven with the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. 2 He seized the dragon, the original serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years. 3 And he hurled him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not mislead the nations anymore until the 1,000 years were ended. After this he must be released for a little while.
From this we can see God's 7th day rest will continue for ''a little while'' over 1,000 more years after Armageddon.
(1 Corinthians 15:24, 25) Next, the end, when he hands over the Kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. 25 For he must rule as king until God has put all enemies under his feet.
