What are my thoughts?
The selective rivulet pebble samples are the only niobium values of note and that fall into the grade levels of interest (or are above) reported by niobium mining companies, all other rock chip samples from Wabli Creek are nearly barren, with maximum 0.05% Nb2O5 (not located) or 0.04% Nb2O5 (location information reported). The rock chips were taken from outcrops on the Reach's land package. The pebbles could have been transported along the rivulet from anywhere.
The niobium is reported as being from pegmatites or from 10cm lengths within gneiss areas. 99% of the world's niobium comes from carbonatites which are large, with drill lengths that exceed 10s of metres from surface.
Is it worth the cost of drill holes, field works, geologists etc to test the rivulet pebbles, 10cm lengths in gneiss or 0.05% Nb2O5 rock chips (pegmatites?). Probably not.
This investment is not for me, but GLTAH to those who have decided it's worth the risk and have taken a punt.
