Well that is the same for the majority I know. Only 2 people I know had worse effects 1 work mate who had a longer term persistence cough and another's kid who had other underlying issues. Even my daughter's mum who has extremely severe asthma just had it but with the appropriate plan of taking steroids after testing positive has gotten through it fine.
Perhaps you are just in the high risk category and hang out with more people in that category
