Niobium is "concentrated in the smaller than 0.21mm fraction in the numerous rivulet and creek gravels". This probably explains the niobium that appears around the granite in the soil survey (21/12/2023 announcement). The historical work shared reveals all. Small amounts of niobium around a granite that have washed into the rivulets. Just like gold nuggets do. Then there is: - Lost data. - 3000 samples from 1980. Perhaps still being assay at the laboratory? - The dog ate my homework.
