Effectively there are no competitors - that is why the FDA has granted orphan status for Dimerix' DMX-200 combo (propagermanium+irbesartan).. Current standard of care is irbesartan, which is off-license (generic is available). Irbesartan was originally developed to treat high blood pressure I believe.
