Think the whole MOU thing anyway was clearly just posted as a CR pump. The realisation of such infrastructure build is still way too far in the future and any fast track talk is just that talk and not really the real reason I still have cash in this company.
Even in IVZ's words the gas price will be set to support the gas power plant which is actually reverse to any other market in the world where what the underlying gas price is in a particular country, sets the feasibility of the infrastructure project. In any case even if they had to set a super cheap price to entice external capital to support the power plant project they may end up with a free stake in the gas power plants to recover cash and costs. (see Sherritt in cuba and this is exactly how they are monetising the gas wells they drill for cupet and not through selling gas at any particular price)
In any case for IVZ to move forward and medium term re-rate of share price they really need a JV partner to come along to help them to prove up more wells and they are going to be well short of cash for the next well if this upcoming Rights issue fails.
