This is utter nonsense. the Upper and Lower Angwa obviously have both a working trap and seal mechanism.....or we wouldn't have been able to pull gas samples from the 8-1/2" section...and there wouldn't be overpressured gas in the Lower Angwa below 3400m.

Re the pressure of the well neutralizing the flow....if the formation pressure in the LA below 3400m is insufficient to push the cushion out during a flow test....how did it manage to cause a kick during drilling and require an increase in mud weight to keep the well stable?
