yes, in some places there have been higher floods, probably longer droughts etc etc -------

but also today - in some areas we have record events -

all of that matters noting in individual cases ------------------- what matters is the averages and clusters -------- AND the trends

when you see record after record being broken in any one year or decade or century -------- well, it's a headsup

when you see a consistent rise or fall in indicators over years ---------- that's a real heads up

when you see a trend - and it's accelerating ---------- oh boy, that's gotta be an attention grabber.

if the records that were shattered in 2023 didn't get anyone's attention --------- then, they must be as thick as a brick

and when we do get biblical style happenings ---------- then, god help us --------- because insurance companies aren't handling what we already have at the moment
