We'll have to agree to disagree, so let's see if you are right.
I personally don't think PRU are silly enough to blow over $300 million on purchasing a project unless they get complete access to the ORR data room, and like they said in their first announcement, unless they are able to talk freely with the ORR board, and I don't think the majority of their shareholders would expect it of them either.
I think SVM's recent TSX announcement is an indication that they will purchase the project.
I think PRU will do as they first announced, and see this as an investment in ORR/SVM, eventually offloading SVM shares in Canada at some stage and probably getting some arbitrage into the deal.
But it's just my individual opinion at this stage, and what I guess might happen, and of course I recognize that others also have their quite valid opinions, which are always interesting to read and consider. Anyway, I don't mind what happens here, as long as the ORR shareholders get the very best deal possible.
