    Well speak to old mate @hagetaka. If I recall correctly (and I do) he said the new normal price was $300, then $250, then $200, then $150, and now I think he's dropped that down to $130? He might have said its even lower to save himself from being embarrassed more.

    Irrelevant? Really? The price of the underlying commodity is irrelevant?

    That's the global industrial production, and whilst you are correct that it has declined for the last few months. It is barely a percentage point or two from back in Jan and Feb of 2023 where coal was trading at $350USD at the end of January. So, I don't really buy the explanation. Also, the cost of production is also much higher (WHC must be around $110AUD at the moment?)
