I appreciate your helpful explanation of the financial breakdown of the project costs. I agree that it doesn’t seem as burdensome as I first thought. Bear in mind, though, that PYC has to spend the money FIRST and then receive the R&D tax refund LATER. I am also wary of a large company like Google wanting to collaborate with a minnow (although a minnow of impeccable breeding) like PYC. I cannot imagine that Google have any concerns for any party other than themselves. I highly doubt they are doing the project with any altruism in mind. At the end of the day of course, it doesn’t matter what I (or anyone here on HC) think. The BOD have made their decision and that is that. I really hope it all goes swimmingly as I am heavily invested in PYC and want it to succeed.
