My memory of that interview was that it was the first supportive piece of journalism we’d seen, but that Nigel wasn’t happy with parts of it where he’d been misquoted/had comments reported out of context. Aside from that, he made sure he was generally seen to be saying the right things.

I’m still a bit more forgiving of the board than you as far as lack of updates go. ICSID didn’t meet their expected (tightish) timeline for an update before they shut up shop pre-Christmas, & they’re not due back at work till tonight our time I think. We’ve been the victim of enough undeserved/corruption-based hold-ups without making an enemy of ICSID by playing the amateur card of blabbing about our take on ICSID proceedings. Should only be days before we have an official answer on that anyway.

Where we do disagree is on the class action front. Personally, I’ve accepted the board’s reasons for lack of disclosure. I think we have nastier enemies to blame for the situation we’re in. But even if I did think a class action was warranted & was successful, what is the prize? Fractions of cents in the dollar I’d suggest,..& another excuse for the DRC to roll its eyes, tell us we’re not capable of progressing the project & re-sell it to the Chinese.
