I don't believe I have read or heard any information of the regulatory process having been started, or at least progressed very far (other than information gathering and appearing as a future goal in presentations), in either China or Japan (HK aside). Both markets have extremely strict requirements for approval, and studies done to prove efficacy and more importantly, safety, within their country.
Others will have more details on them, but I am thinking both are years away.
