It was a persistent QA issue within batches received, that is variability within batches, as it was explained to me in a chat after the AGM. Specifically the ways the glass was laid in the HDPE. One technique or alignment worked, producing the result as per design, the others did not........

"This way, competent manufacturers avoid such issues." As I wrote to @simonmag you too should go lecture the manufacturer so they can produce a better result for their next client. I'm guessing but it seems they didn't pay enough attention to feed back from Redflow.

This issue of failure to mass produce was one of the drivers that caused us to drive 7 hours to the AGM.

As you probably know, Redflow is not alone in experiencing issues when it comes to manufacturing new battery designs. At least the Energy Pod200 is on its' way to Acciona Energia for integration testing.
