RP, i guess none of us know for sure.

when gold hit its all time high in june CRK ignored it and continued to slide to make new lows since then. so i'm not sure if its just gold price affecting the recent strength, or something else.

if it is hedge fund buying then for all we know LF may have pointed them in Carrick's direction. given his history and experience i'm sure he would have met a lot of hedgefund managers his time.

at the end of the day its all speculation. main thing is its heading back in the right direction
