The written information accompanying the form indicates that Australian TFN is not a TIN. I did a bit of research and I was comfortable to mark that FTIN is not legally required. I received my letter yesterday (live in Inner Melbourne) and it took only a short time to complete the Form W-8BEN and create account with US Computershare. I am now awaiting the verification code from Computershare via mail to access my IXHL share information.
