brendan , I am not interested in the reputation of MCC, I hold stock in CFE and I just want its management to be honest with me.
re the valuation , as I have said before I value a $1 at exactly that. I dont put much valuation on some dirt in the ground of a foreign country with an appalling political history....but I am obviously happy to speculate on it... and like all other CFE holders hope ( gamble) that we will get several hundred mil.. but I wont factor it in until there is a buyer.. and then I might factor in half of what the buyer agrees to and the other half when he actually pays up! I did factor in the 80 mill based on an understanding (which I am now doubting) that it was assured.
