the us$ has declined against the euro some 30-40% and both china and russia are moving away from the $ to the euro. this will put pressure on an already strained greenback and will further exascerbate the economic woes. even if 300 - 500 was returned to the us this is a drop in the ocean compared to its deficit and its debts. i agree with the sentiment of the email. the us$ will collapse and the eu will be the dominant economic force of the world.
