Have you spoken to Tony recently? I would love to know what MCC are thinking but i think there may be a method in their madness as you are suggesting.

My only suggestion and i think I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but i think a attempted takeover is looming. why pay the $80 million when you can suppress the share price by not paying it.

simple example of finance 101.

either way tony has suggested T/O price between $1.50 - $2.00.

lets say they go for $1.75.

$1.75 x 625m(shares on issue) = $1093.75m

so say they pay $80m they then have to pay $1093.75 on top of this and then T/O cost = $1093.75 + $80 = $1173.75

so don't pay $80m announce T/O and takeover cost =$1093.75 - $80
=$1013.75

=$1173.75 - $1013.75 = $160m cheaper.

This is only speculation on my behalf and I am just a shareholder that lives in hope of CFE being taken over.
